Diabetes Library and Resource Center

Diabetes is a chronic health condition that's increasing in prevalence and severity. Learning to manage diabetes will greatly improve a person's quality and quantity of life. Further, by having a healthy diet, maintaining a healthy body weight and exercising regularly you can avoid developing type II diabetes in the first place.

Please select from the following subsections of the diabetes library and resource center:

Living Well: A Diabetes Care Handbook

Learn how diabetes affects the body, how the disease is diagnosed, and how treatment can help lower the chance of complications. You will also find guidelines for self-management (monitoring, meal planning, taking medication, and exercising), tips for taking care of yourself when you're sick or when blood glucose is out of range, and resources for more education and support.
